- Reply-to: gcc-bugzilla at gcc dot gnu dot org
The following invalid code snippet triggers an ICE (segfault) on mainline:
=================================
struct A
{
friend A::~A() {}
};
=================================
bug.cc:3: error: member functions are implicitly friends of their class
bug.cc: In static member function 'static A::~A()':
bug.cc:3: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault
Please submit a full bug report, [etc.]
Note that ~A is a considered static member function in the second line
of the error message.
Btw, the code was wrongly accepted before GCC 4.1.0.
