[Bug c++/31049] G++ 4.1.1 forgets to allocate memory (skips part of user code)

This is a duplicate of PR 29106 which was present in GCC 4.0.3, 4.1.0, and
4.1.1.
It's fixed in GCC 4.0.4 and 4.1.2, though.
