I have configured this way: just doing:
configure --prefix=/somewhere
(nothing else... thinking all is automatic)
Then just trying to do a normal "make"
(thinking most of the things are automatic)
My machine is:
SunOS lucius1 5.10 Generic_118822-26 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-480R

How did you configure? How did you invoke make? Do you have a 64bit userland?
