Yes, in my opinion too, in Download -> Releases should be present info strictly
about the Download of Releases ;), therefore, probably, immediately the list of
mirrors, or a link to it and, probably, some minimal info about how to navigate
in the directory trees of the servers (as mentioned by Dave). Detailed info
about each release, together with fixed bugs and so on - what we have in releases/
#timeline - should be definitely available, of course, but elsewhere, not from
the Download link of the homepage: in fact, we *already* have a Timeline link in
the homepage, maybe suffices, but should point to a separate page about the
timeline only.
