No, I did it! Check the configuration more closely:
The gcc-4.0.0 is configured as follow:
Using built-in specs.
Target: x86_64-suse-linux
Configured with: ../configure --prefix=/usr/local/gcc-4.0
--enable-languages=c,c++ --disable-multlilib
