I'm sorry, why this attitude? The standard has been made by people, there are
definitely errors in it, that are being corrected, a very hard and prolonged
effort. We are not talking about "enemies", we are talking about people like
me and you: people like me and you don't like unreasonable choices, I think.
Can happen to end up with something that looks unreasonable, in retrospect,
but I think we owe respect to that endeavour (I'm not discussing the merit
of your problem, just some general considerations)
