Subject: [Bug java/18281] New: Backslashes in CLASSPATH cause jc1 to hang

If gcj is called while the environment variable CLASSPATH contains backslashes 
instead of slashes, jc1 (called by gcj) hangs without any error message. Could 
gcj/jc1 be made "backslash tolerant"?
