I cannot reproduce this with 3.4.1 sources and CVS binutils, newlib, etc.
I'm following these directions:
http://gcc.gnu.org/simtest-howto.html
And am configuring like so:
/mnt/hd/src/gcc-simulator/configure --verbose
--prefix=/mnt/hd/bld/H-x86-gcc-3.4.1-x-i386-ecos-elf --target=i386-ecos-elf
--with-newlib --disable-gdbtk --enable-languages=c,c++
I have no problems. Can you please provide feedback if this bug still exists?
