Hello, Friend,
Last night, I built gcc-3.4.0 on my Sunblade 100 workstation that runs Solaris 8. While I then tried to configure Python-2.3.3, its configure script couldn't tell whether gcc's C++ compiler would work. Because I built Python-2.3.3 with gcc-3.3.3's C compiler, I tried to rebuild gcc-3.3.3 and to reinstall it. But the build ended abnormally with an error message that I forgot. Now I don't know what to do. I haven't installed a Solaris binary distribution of gcc-3.3.3 because I can't find one at a gcc mirror site, nor at ftp.gnu.org.
Thanks for your help.
Best wishes,
Bill
