Cannot do Process.waitFor from a different thread than the one that started the
process. It is also broken in 3.4, but the is not too surprizing as
natPosixProcess.cc has not been modified in quite a while.
I am running on an older RedHat 7.1 system. The problem might go away with NPTL
(or what ever it is called).
Run the program that I will attach. You will notice that it creates 50 zombie
processes that are never reaped.
The same program run with Sun's JRE does not leave any zombies.
