Debugging an application compiled with GCC 3.4 (experimental) produces warnings
that register information is out of range. For example:
$ gdb-5.3 cc1
(gdb) break store_bit_field
During symbol reading, register number 208 too large (max 72) in symbol target.
During symbol reading, register number 208 too large (max 72) in symbol
unsignedp.
(gdb) break emit_move_insn
During symbol reading, register number 1244 too large (max 72) in symbol
unsignedp.
During symbol reading, register number 1244 too large (max 72) in symbol type.
During symbol reading, register number 1244 too large (max 72) in symbol
alias_set.
During symbol reading, register number 1288 too large (max 72) in symbol
cleared.
During symbol reading, register number 1288 too large (max 72) in symbol
alias_set.
During symbol reading, register number 1312 too large (max 72) in symbol
args_addr.
During symbol reading, register number 1312 too large (max 72) in symbol
reg_parm_stack.
