I doubt autoconf stupidity explains the issue (you could probably tell autoconf that is was hpux-
11.29 and it wouldn't notice). Would you mind sending me (or attaching to this report) your gcc/
Makefile and gcc/config.log ? Hopefully that'll help me figure out what the discrepancy is...
