You built gcc from the FreeBSD ports collection. I hereby endorse that plan for most FreeBSD users, however there is a bug which affects FreeBSD 4 (and before) users only in 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 as built in /usr/ports/lang/gcc32 that wasn't fixed until 2003/03/20.
Please update your ports collection past that point and rebuild.
If that can't be done, remove the first thunk of
files/patch-va and rebuild.
