automake 1.4, autoconf 2.13, make 3.79

When compile for Solaris 8, this happens:

dg.exp          ..linked
libstdc++.tests         ..working in
printnow.c              ..linked
testsuite_hooks.h               ..linked
testsuite_flags.in              ..linked
creating cache ../config.cache
configure: error: can not find install-sh or install.sh in . ./.. ./../..
make: *** [configure-target-libstdc++-v3] Error 1

>How-To-Repeat:
It does it everytime I compile it! Running Solaris 8 on an Ultra 60.

Make sure the file exists?!?
