CVS trunk bootstrap failure on alphaev6-unknown-linux-gnu

Well, we know who the "unknown" stands for - and we will chase them down
to the ends of the Earth.

I don't know who listened to Compaq this week about the (greatly
exaggerated news of the) death of the Alpha, but I can't `make
bootstrap' on Alpha since several days:
