Hi Joel,
As the author of half the configuration changes this area (I saw it
was possible to finally fix this stuff right after this patch went in:
2001-04-26 Alexandre Oliva <aoliva@redhat.com>), I am willing to work
with you on this.
You should not need your patch any longer. libstdc++-v3 now uses the
gthr.h abstraction layer. If this is not working for your platforms,
I am very happy to help make it work.
