I've verified this is a bug in current CVS: thanks for taking the time
to report it. I'd like to get the boost testsuite working, so I'll
bump up the priority on fixing this.
gdb does very strange things indeed. You can try configuring witn
--enable-debug, which turns off optimizations and weird linker
flags. It's not helping much at the moment though.
