Can you please document the variables that are required for adding shared
library support for libgcc.
It appears that some/all of the following are used. Which are required?
and which are likely to be target dependent?
SHLIB_EXT
SHLIB_LINK
SHLIB_INSTALL
SHLIB_MKMAP
SHLIB_MAPFILES
