Tested on i386-pc-solaris2.7 and i386-unknown-freebsdelf

When referencing an initialized const static char[] from a class, the compiler generates a ref. to the static member rather than the string.  I'm not a C++ expert, so perhaps I'm violating the language, but compiler versions 2.8.1 and prior worked fine.  2.95.2 generates an incorrect reference.
