Yup, known problem. It should affect anybody with a relative $srcdir.
I suppose Kaveh is working on a complete fix. Meanwhile, there's a
patch posted a few hours ago in the gcc mailing list (gcc, not
gcc-patches) by Albert Chin-A-Young <china@thewrittenword.com> that
should fix this particular problem.
