Please note that gcc 2.96 is an experimental compiler, *not* a
released compiler.
It is not intended for production use, primarily because it has not
been fully tested.
It should only be used by people who wish to help test and debug it in
preparation for the next official gcc release.
If having a well tested compiler is important to you, you should use
the latest stable release, which is gcc 2.95.2 .
