Thanks for the testcase.  If I compile the program with -O2 -fssa the
exit value is indeed 4.  This is with the current gcc 2.96 CVS
version.

Uli and Richard, shall I change the test so that it can be integrated
into the testsuite?  Or are you going to do it, Richard?
