Internal Compiler Error 191

GCC Version: 1.1.2-12c
System Type: PowerPC 603e/225MHz running LinuxPPC 1999 Q3
What I did:
I downloaded Crystal Space, a free 3D engine, (at
http://crystal.linuxgames.com/) and then tried to `make' it. Then I'd
try another one of its make options, like `make apps' or `make
drivers' and it's hum along, and then stop at the same compilation
saying Internal Compiler Error 191.
