Finding that it is possible to build gcc by reducing options to -O -pipe, the
next problem is that the libgcc2 build fails with numerous instances of
"long, short, signed, unsigned invalid for ... in ...h" In turn, it is
impossible to configure the g++ libraries. The failure to configure libobjc
appears to be some sort of mixup on whether threads are enabled.
