Re: cpplib broken with long comments embedded in macros

Yes.

For the first time in a long time, I am able to build XEmacs with an
egcs snapshot, since it's now built with --enable-cpplib. I was
confused - I thought that the reason for my preprocessor failures in
the snapshots was that cpplib was turned on for the snapshots - my
apologies. There were no problems building XEmacs with gcc-2.95.2,
which was built without cpplib.

Using the latest snapshot uncovers other bugs in gcc, which I will
report as separate bugs in other email.

Martin
