Bug -- what else? 8=}

Greetings,

Consider the following program saved in file foo.c:

===================================
#include <math.h>

int main(void)
{
  int  n;

  n = (int) cos(acos(0.1));
  pow(0.123, 0.75);
  pow(0.123, 0.75);
  return 0;
}
===================================

Now I compile and run:

host% gcc -v -O2 foo.c -lm

It does *not* segfault when:

1. I use optimization under -O2   --or--

2. I do not have to make the (int) cast (i.e., if n is a double) --or--

3. I only have one pow() call.

This is using a Linux 2.2.7-1.25 kernel (RedHat 6.0).

Is this a bug or am I being up too late?

Thank you,

PS Thanks for your efforts in making this great compiler!
