Random signal 4 and 11 with gcc 2.95+kernel 2.2.12

The problem arises when I try to compile the linux 2.2.12 kernel with a gcc
2.95 (from a debian package), with the config that I send you attached. It
start compiling and usually after two or three minutes give me signal 4 (most
of them) and signal 11 errors at random files.

I have also tried with gcc 2.95.2-Pre2 with the same result.

I think it is not a hardware problem because gcc
2.7 compilated well the same kernel.

The system is a Debian 2.1 with a 2.2.12 kernel (on a x386), AMD K6 II 3D
proccesor, 32 Mb SDRAM.
