Problem compiling the QT2.0 beta2 with egcs1.2.2

I am sort of new at this. Tell me what to do and I can send you
whatever you need. I compiled and installed egcs1.1.2 for Mandrake
6.0 using kernel 2.3.6
( compiled by egcs 1.1.2 ) I downloaded the beta K Desktop that need the
QT2.0 Beta 2 compiled and installed first. During the compiles, I see
the directories and programs compiling. They are c++. I am still
trying to learn. Anyway when it hits the widgets directory it hits one
c++ file and after a few seconds tells me that there is an internal
compiler error . Please report the problem.
