HylaFax.

I have great respect for both Sam Leffler, the author of HylaFax, and
the group of people that manage the egcs distribution of gcc and g++.

My question is, why is is that only (at best) 1 out of 10 versions of
g++ can successfully compile HylaFax?

At worst, shouldnt compiling HylaFax be part of the testing that the
g++ compiler goes thru before being released?

The HylaFax compile instructions have always refered to using some OLD
version of g++, or provided a patch to g++, seems kinda sad.
