egcs 1.1.2 problem

We have here a big problem with egcs 1.1.2 compiling code using either
-mpentium or -mpentiumpro. The attached file has problems compiling on
i386/Linux when compiled using -O3 -fPIC.
Do you have any idea about a fix ? The current egcs from cvs seems to be
okay, although I have not tested it extensively... The problem is that we
can not use egcs from cvs at this time - too late to switch.
Any help would be appreciated.
