Hello Martin,
Thanks for looking into this, and letting me know what -xwe is.
This helped be to find where the -xwe came from, it has nothing to
do with egcs, sorry. It was my mistake, I had set
CXXFLAGS='-g -xwe' in my environment, in my shell initialization
script. Sorry I didn't see my error earlier.
