Hmm, always think for 5 minutes longer before sending a mail :/

I am suddenly not so sure anymore that it is a bug.

Its equivalent to doing:

  foo(alloca(20), '\n');

If '\n' is put on the stack first, you have a problem.
Can it be a requirement that alloca() occuring in parameter lists
of function calls are pre-calculated, before putting the
parameters on the stack?

Think of

  foo(alloca(20), alloca(20));
