Because there's no such thing as libg++-27.*

There was libg++-2.7.2, possibly even libg++-2.7.2.1, presumably
one of HJ's releases.

If someone hacked the version # because some tool couldn't handle
a 4 part version #, then that person is to blame for the snafu.
