Hi, the new egcs-980129 has small bug:
gcc -v 
gives:
Reading specs from \
/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnulibc1/egcs-2.91.06/specs
gcc version egcs-2.91.06 980122 (gcc-2.8.0 release)
                         ^^^^^^
