CentOS has version 4.4.4 available (4.1.2 as "base").
Neither recognize REAL(16) or REAL*16.

So I'll guess I need 4.6 minimum??

Can you point me to the instructions for installing and
configuring the latest stable version?  Would there be
a rpm package sitting somewhere?
