What is wrong? Can you be a bit more specific?

Oh, I was not aware of this one. What a coincidence it was just
committed a few hours ago! And it does indeed fix all the trouble I
saw. So it seems my patch is not needed any more. Still I'm curious
what's so very "wrong" about it.
