I've tried to identify tabs in the files gfortran warned about, but
have not found any so it looks like "false positives" are being
reported. None of the 59 files warned about has any tabs.
One interesting thing I found is that using:
egrep '\t' <files...>
does not work as '\t' is not portable. See

There it does show a method that works (but only in the bash shell):
egrep $'\t' <files...>
That will find tabs.
I'll still file the bug, though, as a false warning, but after I've
done some more testing.
