I have the semicolon in the file I have used for my tests (i686). Also the change in t-darwin does not seem to be required for a fresh bootstrap.

Well, the t-darwin is necessary for me on ppc-darwin and i686-darwin even on x86_64-darwin.


I do build with disable-static. Might be that this is the culprit.
Nevertheless, I do not understand where you'd get the rule on how to make the darwin-f.o w/o the t-darwin piece.


On my builds w/o the t-darwin tweak I always ended up with darwin-f.o not found.

P.S, Daniel, I meant i686-darwin, not i686 (linux)
