On Linux, the kernel is 2.6.22-14, and the glibc is 2.6.1. The Linux system is an x86-64 system.

On Ubuntu, it's 4.2.1 (Ubuntu 4.2.1-5ubuntu4)

I've tested with no options at all, -m64 (on Linux), and '-g -ffpe-trap=invalid,zero,overflow'.

Yes, I did, reproduce it with a 4.3 compiler--on OS X.

Intel.

That I don't know.

I haven't checked yet.
