There's not much you can do about paperwork delays. Ask Asher
about his nightmare. So, there's no need to apologize.
The 4.2 freeze is governed by the number of C/C++ regressions,
particularly P1 regressions, on mainline. Mark Mitchell wants
to get below 100 regressions with few, if not no, P1 regressions.
There are currently 116 regressions, which is up from the 104
regressions of 2 weeks ago.
With the progress on fixing regressions, I think we can just
let time move forward. If you get the patch to me, I'll try
to get it into 4.2; otherwise, it will slip to 4.3. It's
omission from 4.2 isn't earth shattering (it's more of a
disappointment).
