which gfortran for Windows

  Hi,

I'm confused about which gcc4/gfortran for Windows I should download.
I'm running the cygwin utilities to build and test the native-code
portions of a not yet GPLed Java program I distribute. I used to use
gcc3/g77 for this purpose, building with the -mno-cygwin switch so as to
link to the non-GPLed mingwin libraries. I'd like to move forward
to gcc4/gfortran. At the link:

http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/GFortranBinaries

there are 2 gfortran distributions available for Windows. mingw (Native
Windows) and cygwin. Which is the correct one for my situation?

  Thanks much,
