I think you're reading too much into Gerald's offer; if I know him, I'm
sure he'd be glad to continue reviewing patches, while simultaneously
getting out of your way.

(Apologies to Gerald if I'm putting untrue words in his mouth!)

I think the Fortran frontend deserves a web page - preferably, stripped
of the bits that are too volatile for anyone to bother keeping up to
date in non-Wiki form, so that it doesn't need a huge disclaimer.  But
I don't know anything about gfortran, so I'm not volunteering, so I'm
shutting up now.
