gcc 4.1.0 cvs failed to build under cygwin

Hi all
I've a problem building gcc 4.1.0 cvs under cygwin. After a moment it fails
with
cc1: warnings being treated as errors

has anybody also encountered this ?
(well I'm using a home build of gcc 4.0.0, maybe I should use gcc 3.4.1 ??)
