The 4.0 release is scheduled for the 15th IIRC.
Is gfortran supposed to be released with 4.0.0? I'm not sure what we
will gain from that, except we will get lots of duplicate bug-reports
for a few major bugs (modules, characters-related issues, ...) that
prevents further testing.
