I know that's why you did F. One of the gfortran bug reports is the lack of -std=F. I think that we should do it sometime..... when we are on the far decay side of f77 and f95 bug reports!


I haven't used Meissner's examples as tests. That is
a good idea and I'll do it when I get through the others.


They are a very good gauge of progress with gfortran - when I tried them a year ago, less than half compiled and ran out of the boxes. Now there is only one left that doesn't. I have also tried many of John Burkhardt's and Alan Miller's programs, using the links from your site. They mostly work with no trouble. The Quetzal and Polyhedron benchmarks were a bit more difficult; there are one or two outstanding bug reports from those efforts.

get cracking on the tests.


It's great that you willing to do this - the offers of help are still there.
