I've just spotted a bug with absent optional character parameters, so don't expect it to work properly if you miss a parameter. Should be fixed soon.

So, how's the fix for this problem coming along? I just dusted of Steven's patch from April 2003, and there is a problem with absent optional character parameters :-)

The set of length parameters passed to _gfortran_date_and_time is clearly bogus. Or did the rules for intrinsic functions change in the meantime?

For reference, I attach the updated date_and_time.f90. I #if 0'ed a pair of lines that didn't make sense to me, apart from that I only fixed a bunch of syntax errors, and replaced the original "G95" by our current "GFC".
